General question about Extended Warranty (GM Major Guard)
Hey guys, I have a few piddling problems that have been annoying me so I might finally take in my car.
-Passenger and Driver power windows intermittently fail
-"Service Active Handling" every time I go out now
-LCD display on HVAC controls is dim and I can barely see it in sunlight
I have GM Major Guard with a $200 deductible.
If I take in my car and ask them to fix all these things, 1) is it a $200 fee to fix all problems I bring the car in for? and 2) do they have any obligation to give me a loaner car or is that at their discretion?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have the extended major guard, and they should cover everything under the one 200 deductable. I had my leaking rear fixed and a new hood liner put in.
They do not have to give you a loaner, I asked and got them to cover a 20 dollar rental charge for a cheapo car. However it will have to be a chevy, so if the eneterprise on site does not have one you may well be out of luck. Ask for everything, see what you get

I found another thread through the search that talked about whether they have to keep your car overnight or not. I guess I'll have to see how long they want to keep the car.

Major Guard cares about keeping customers
They will fix both non-intermittent things for one deductible. The intermittent stuff they won't find, but you need to start a paper trail within the original warranty period. It is possible if, after Major Guard expires, the intermittant stuff becomes permanent, they sometimes give an extended warranty. You have to call the corporate 800 customer service number and deal with the bureaucracy and have to have been very nice to everyone but hey, I'm proud of them --- the eventually extended warranty over a $555 starter problem that took two years to finally diagnose. The general rocks!
My dealer always gave me any enterprise vehicle when needed although usually I took the service van to and from work, maybe that influenced their approach to me if your's is behaving otherwise.
Good luck,
Eric

I had GMPP 0 deductable and it covered a rental car, Every time the car was in the shop I gor a rental at NC. The 200 should be the only thing you have to pay.
