anyone have this issue with their A/C?
thanks
Quite a few have seen this and its becoming some what common on older or high mileage C5's. In your search for answers, you'll find its 1 or 2 things. The 'actuaters' have gone bad or the compressor is shot. Some have managed to 'charge' the system as a quick fix or band-aid.
Now, first thing you should do, is pull up your codes. If there are any HVAC codes, unhook your battery for a couple minutes, then re-connect it. This may re-set your actuators, and that may be all you need to do. It happens that way sometimes.
If that doesn't work, re-check your codes and see which ones are coming up. Since you are having problems with your drivers side, you're in luck, if it is your actuator. The drivers side can be changed by pulling the cover off under the dash. Not easy laying on your back on the drivers side floor. But, it's much better than the passenger side. You have to pull the whole dash apart to replace that one.
Need more info, or help changing out the actuator I'm less than an hour away. Be glad to help.

This has happened to me several times and that recalibrates the blend doors.
Side note: it hasn't happened again since I put a new battery in.
