$35K is up there but it all depends on the car itself. How many miles, option, wheels tires etc.

Heck I'm only asking $39.5 for my 2004 CLE SC with almost $30K in mods and 10500 miles on it.

the car has 26800 miles and it comes with a set of ccw wheels, a set of black zo6 rims, and a set of another aftermarket wheels all with tires some good some need replacing. it has the HUD and black interior with the red inserts. It also has large slotted and cross drilled rotors

my suggestion is the car is worth a lot less than he is asking. As a fellow C4 owner, you know if you put 10K in mods in a Corvette-if you get 5K back you are lucky. Why not just buy a Z06 with lower miles and a lot less money? 405 is a lot of HP

yeah i could do that but a stock zo6 does not have a cammed ls6 with a procharger in it not trying to be rude. In your mind how much would a car like the one in question be worth

Find out the condition of the transmission. Mine (coupe with MN6) didn't hold up long after the pro-charger. It worked fine in ordinary driving situations but under boost it didn't want to shift easily from second to third.

How long have these modifications been on the car and why is he selling it? If the mods have been on for 20K of the 26K miles that will tell you one story but if they have recently been done that is something else (has the combo truely been tested or are you going to have to problem-solve some of the bugs in the system).

Has anything been done to strengthen the rear end (strut brace, hardened output shafts, etc.)? What improvements have been made to the fuel system. If it is a late 2003 model, there are fewer options for upgrading the fuel system (other than going to a complete new system which can get expensive).

Who did the tuning of this combination and is it a conservative tune or someone trying to get a high dyno number? What kind of power numbers is it putting down?

I have a Procharged 02 that is otherwise pretty stock. The install and tune were done by A&A. I guess I don't push it hard enough because I haven't had any problems in 11k miles. Clutch, trans and rear end are stock. still drives like new. So I think it is a combination of things. How did the owner take care of and drive the car, was it abused? Who did the install and tune and their experience? Just luck on the car some cars are just luckier or built better or for whatever reason got better parts. Kind of a crapshoot but if your comfortable with the previous owner and installer and the car drives good why not. I had a 92 before and there is no comparison. Oh, 405 is not enough horsepower.

Rick
