If you want something load, what you are thinking about will do that. I do not believe however that you will see a large hp gain. One thing to think about, if this is a daily driver, the noise might be a little much after a while.

Catback systems are a "hear it/see it" mod than power adder. Contrary to popular belief, the stock system flows pretty well for a street application. Might want to reseach NJ law to find out if your choice of catback is a "bonafied cop caller"

Pretty insignificant gains on the HP side, but on the loud scale . I would check in your local area to see what you can get away with, some areas are pretty picky about obnoxious loud exhaust. Check out some sound clips at Corsa, Borla etc. Does not do it complete justice, just a point of reference for what you are looking(listening) for
I see you live in New Jersey. If you go to Corvettes at Carlisle there are a lot of cars with different exhaust systems plus the sell and install them there.
I agree with other about the noise. My brother's car came with a loud exhaust system (Borla Stingers) that you could hear his car from at least 1/4 mile away. Could not even see but you knew it was him!!
He is switching it out for a much more quiet system that flows much better.
FWIW, a lot of people go with the Z06 Ti. Nice throatier exhaust, much lighter than stock system, and more free flowing for power. Can buy a used set for about $400 over in the C5 parts for sale section.

I'd go Borlas for the sound note, deep rumble, with the GHL close second. Then again, Borla's are what I put on.
You will get some drone.
B&B's are louder, but more motorboat sounding (hey, this is my opinion), and even more drone.
SLP's loudmouths are very loud (comp to the B&B'), but the sound is hollow and unrefined. Personally, don't think they sound too good. (FYI, I have SLP loudmouths on my TA, which sound much better).
anyone have a picture of slp loudmouth installed?
are the exhaust tips set up like a stock corvette exhaust? or they aligned differrent.
i dont want all four tips combined together. i want it separated 2 on each side.. basically wat a stock vette looks like.
