I got my silver/black vette essentials interior pieces in last week. I ordered an auto shift boot and ****, e-brake boot, and steering wheel. I had gotten the console lid, door handles and arm rests a while back from another forum member. The quality of these pieces is top notch.
I installed the e-brake boot and shift ****/boot on monday morning. Install was very easy, took maybe 30 minutes total with the great directions on the vette essentials website. This morning I had the steering wheel installed at the dealership.
Here is a pic of the interior before :
And here are a few pics now:
next on the interior list is the seat covers. If only I could afford the ones from vette essentials!
special thanks to Matt at VE for being so helpful in answering my questions and working with me on the order. Great group of folks there!
How much did the dealership charge to install the steering wheel?
thanks
they told me it would either be $48 or $96, depending on if it took them 1/2 hour or an hour. It ended up being $96. Shouldn't take any place more than an hour.

Had mine done yesterday at Dealership. $93 plus tax. My independant shop didn't have the wheel puller and I needed the old wheel to return for core.
