Default Cleaning the hood liner?

The hoodliner on my 99 is starting to look a little ratty - has anyone removed and cleaned theirs? Or do you just replace it?

Any tips on cleaning?

Thank you

Most paint worn/old looking liners and fill in the logo as well. Lots of threads on this one.

Do a search for painting or cleaning hood liners. There are a few of post on this subject. However, for a quick answer, a good brushing with a moderate brush, then vacuum. Most recommend painting it with a flat black BBQ grill paint. The retainers can be easily removed with your fingers.

If it does not should signs of wear then you can flow it off, use a sticky roller to pick up any loose lint and use a flat black spray can to freshen it up.
