upgraded stereo idea's
Hi guys..i'm looking for upgrading the stereo in a 03 z06. i'd like to use
a ipod. i don't need any of the power booster stuff. Just would like a moderate new tech. upgrade. any input would be most welcome.

Check into ipod2car. I left my stock unit in and just hooked this up. You might search/post over in the audio section.

Personally I would stay away from the IDA X001, IMO it has worse sound quality by far then the Pioneer 4000UB and 5000UB, can not shape the sound the same, and for the extra money you could even go up a couple model levels in the Pioneer department. Still has the USB and everything. JMTC

I got the new Alpine ida X100 and love it. The sound is awesome even with top down. I especially like the album artwork it pulls from the iPod. I hid the iPod in the center console. You can add bluetooth, satellite radio, etc. to it also.
