Magnesium Rims
I just got my used set of Mag rims out of the boxes. From shipping or other there are some places that need to be refinished. Does anyone know what the coating is on these rims, is it just a paint or a powder coat or? If possible does anyone know the color and or color code so that it could be matched again and any idea on the cost to redo the finish?

The national Corvette suppliers have touchup paint. Although I think there is a post here that gives you the mix for a spray application. The wheels are not powder coated. They are brittle, and you need to find a tire installer that uses a clamp that holds the wheel bead on the inside to the table when mounting the tire. You still may have to touch up the wheel afterwards. The finish is not very durable.
