They fit over the GM locking lug nut. Not sure why you care about the lock. Locks don't when thieves can buy a solution to the problem by spending about $80 for a kit that will allow them to remove any lug nut lock from any car.
Bill did it ever cross your mind that all thieves are not equal? Perhaps this would be enough to stop local kids or others less skilled from attempting it? When you have a lot of money invested in your wheels any protection is better than the lets just hope it doesn't happen approach. Plus this is the 3d set of locking lug nuts I'm adding to the car and all 5 of the lugs are of the locking variety.
That's where I'm coming from. Thanks for the good news, now I need to purchase some lug nut covers.

I've got in-laws in Land O Lakes and can understand your concern. As over the top as your 20 locking lugnuts may sound to some of us, I would be willing to bet that upon seeing the added effort some azzhat thief would have to enact to be the new owner of your wheelset they would move on to a shorter workday and jack someone else's stuff.
