Default Bose Connector Help

Ok, so I ust bought myself a new Pioneer AVIC-F700BT for my 2000 C5 (w/ Bose and cd changer) and I have been super excited to install it. As we speak, I'm sitting in my driveway with everything ready to go and I just realized, I don't know which wire is which.

Where can I get a diagram or some sort of schematic which tells me which wire is the ground, the power, the front right speaker positive and negative, rear left speaker positive and negative and so on?

I know a lot of you might be quick to say I should look it up but I just spent an hour doing that and even though I got close, I haven't found what I need. Any help at all is much appreciated!!

PS-The following are some pictures of the connector I am talking about. The Bose factory radio has 2 other connectors as well, I am not sure exactly what they are for.

Are you trying to use the factory Bose speakers? If so you need an interface adapter from Soundgate. This is needed to enable the Bose subs that are in the doors. This adapter is about $100.

If you are replacing the speakers with aftermarket, the best course of action is to run new speaker cables. Also there is not switched power in the Bose radio harness. In the passanger footwell where the fuse block is there is a connector that has constant 12v and switched 12v and ground.

Everything you need to know about C5 audio is in the FAQ in the audio electronic section. Here is a link to the FAQ. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1117959

As njvette98 said, please don't cut the original harness. There are adapters made to plug into it. Also you need the above mentioned adapter to make it work. It's not hard to install, you just need the right components to properly connect it. David
