The c6 style headlights

Ok. I have used the search button to look to see if there was another post about this, and I just get the error message. So, let me ask. What do you guys think about the c6 style headlights on a c5. I personally don't like the headlights up on a c5. they just remind me of the movie Cars and the headlights should have eye lashes on them. It's not going to stop me from loving my c5 till the wheels fall off, but want to know if they look like they are trying too hard to imitate the c6's.

Any opinions?

Ok I'll go first, I'm planning on getting a set of the black ones, don't care for the silver. Also if you do a search there are at least two pretty good threads asking the same question about these lights and they have pics from people who are currently using them.

Beware before you buy these, do a search for the depo lights. All of us who have bought them are having problems. They did not make the lenses correctly and they crack from the heat, and their seems to be no recourse to get them replaced.

Those arent C6 style lights... theyre C5-R lights which were out long before the C6 was ever designed.

Yeah those lights aren't C6. There is however, a C5 that has a C6 front bumper w/ headlights.

If you don't want popups however, and want headlights similar in functionality, check out SpecterWerkes, they make 2 kinds of non-popups.

I have seen pictures on this forum of C5's with C6 lights and in my opinion it looks pretty good!

This is C6 headlights on a C5 and it will cost you $7k for the conversion.

I'd say go with C5R's or BPP's headlights in HID. The BPP look most like a C6 of them all but still look nothing like them if you know what I mean

is it really worth the effort to look like a c6? Im not sure which ones I saw driving in the opposite direction down a freeway, but my eyes gravitated right to the " frog eyes" still above all, to each their own.
I can relate because I prefer the taillights off the c6, same problem as you guys, just wrong end of car lol
