Does anyone know where I can get good deals on C5Z wheel bearings? My GM dealership wants 500 dollars per bearing and they are the cheapest guys in town. I'm in Canada and would be more than willing to get them from the states if I can get a nice deal.
Oh, OEM GM parts only. No crap quality parts, I'm just interested in seeing if they are cheaper across the border since I've bought OEM parts from american dealerships before and saved a ton of money.

This is slightly off subject, but since they're so expensive, I need to know something.
Back in the 60s you had to pack your wheel bearings every so often. Is that still required or are they sealed units now? If you still have to do it, what's the schedule?
Speaking of wheel bearings, how does one know when they are going bad? And where, exactly, are they? I know they're behind the wheel someplace... thats about all I know. I don't know what to look for behind my wheels, if I want to find them.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Don't forget about the GM Performance Parts hub bearings. The bearings are pressed in a bit tighter and they use different grease. I sell them for $275 each and they do last quite a bit longer than stock.
