Local Corvette cruise night.
Well today was the Lemont Illinois " Corvette " Cruise night. I've been waiting all summer .....and its Raining cats and dogs!!!!! I hate when that happens!!! But it looks good in my garage.

I feel your pain.
Got my classic Vette out ('75) this evening to take the wife out to dinner. While in the restaurant we heard the thunder. It was pouring down. Not too upset though. We REALLY need the rain around here and I can always wash/wipe it down in the garage.
I did buy the way. And love the lines of my '75 as much as my '04. When you own a Vette, life is good. Rain or shine.

My car sits in the garage clean as a whistle every night. Oh, I do drive it, but I always dust it off, wipe the brake dust out of the wheels, and swirl the black out of the exhaust tips when I get home. (And any bugs that may have hit the front bumper.)
Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain here in KC tomorrow, tomorrow night, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And I just can't bring myself to drive it when it's raining if I don't have to.
