Door Edge Guards!?? Please help.
Yes, I know...why would you put these on your C5? Well, the PO put these on the car (along the vertical/rear edge of the door) to cover up some minor dings/scrapes. The ones he put on are too small/narrow and keep tryinging to come off. This exposes adhesive and just generally looks like bunk!!!
I have looked to try and find something that will fit as a replacement until I can get the doors touched up. The C5 door edge is much wider than standard doors and I cannot find any that are wide enough to fit.
Does anyone out there know where to find these for a C5?

Thank you.

Thanks. I have tried various on line searches and keep coming up empty. What I have found is pretty much the same thing that is on it now.
I also tried searching the forum and most of the threads on this topic are too old to still show up.
Thanks.

Is the issue for you the adhesive being exposed? If so go to the hardware store and buy some goof off... Thats what people use to get the adhesive off when they remove the body side moldings.search BSM and JDMvette for more info if thats what you need
Not sure if my concern is the nasty looking adhesive or the nasty looking scuffs covered up by the adhesive?

I I think I will hit Pep Boys to see if I can find some guards, then take old ones off and clean them up. If it looks okay then I will not put the new ones on. If it looks bad...cover em up. Thanks.
