Rear window defroster tab
Sorry guys I Tried doing a search but for some reason i can not get into any of the posts that it finds.
The rear window defoster tab that connects from the top middle of my tear drop window on my 98 coup broke right in half yesterday
. Seems like part of the tab was soldered to the window and the other half was soldered to the slinky wire.
It seems like alot of people have this problem. What is the fix? What do I need to be carful of?

I'm in the same boat... on my Z06 rear glass the passenger side one popped off the other day putting some trim back in. It looks like some kind of pink glue held it on. Not sure how to fix it. Called my glass guy and he said there's a kit to re-attach it properly and he'd call me on Monday.

How do i get the old tab off? It looks like it is still epoxyed/soldered.
Also where do i get a new tab and a tube of that epoxy? does anyone have a write up on how to do this? Thanks.
