Well I think I found one that is a bit out of place. This just posted up on the Vette magazine web site for readers rides. Now there are a few very nice touches to this car but the body
Here is the desription of this car, kinda funny to me.
This is my driver, not daily driver, but this baby is too cool to drive. I had to have the windows tinted dark, because of all the looks, photo's and finger pointing---it made me very uncomfortable. When my girlfriend drove it, she thought everyone was gawking at her (not withstanding the fact she is a looker) but after installing the tint, she finally realized it was mostly the Vette. This guy has won numerous awards up & down the east coast and throughout the southeast. I actually competed against this Vette in a couple of car shows over the years, and when the original owners (a great couple from SC) needed to sell it, I jumped on the opportunity. The air brushed accents have been described as simply "outstanding" by many, and this guy is as cool on the inside (interior & under hood) as the tastefully airbrushed exterior shows. I am sure you will agree after looking over the photo's, that this Vette is certainly a "Victory Lane Vette" and the Tweak-End Warrior is proud as heck to drive it.
I don't think it looks bad from the side view.. but looks not so good from the back. Truth.. I like to see modded cars. I don't have to like 'em... but it's nice to see that we are not all following the status quo. I agree - there have been worse pics posted...
I know there are a lot of bad or ugly vette mods seen on here. I like a lot of what was done to his car. The funniest thing is the write up about having to get tinted windows becasue everyone was pointing etc. This is all on the vette web site and once you post your pic you can have people judge it and leave comments. He has 8-10 pics on there and some of the custom work under the hood is very well done.

Doesn't bother me at all what he does to his car. If he likes it, that's fine by me. If all Corvettes had the same mods, imagine what a bore that would be.....
There is a blacked out c5 here in town at one of the dealerships with that t/a wing. The car has all of the ACI gound effects and lip spoiler but the wing ruins the look of the car. The fact that the car has been for sale forever probably goes along to prove that. It just makes the car look too much like a t/a imo.
