Default Noob Wheel question

Hello all, yesterday I bought my first ever corvette, it's a 2001 speedway white coupe. My previous car was a 1995 Camaro z28 convertible. I had some black ZR-1 wheels on that car that I kept and I was wondering if I would be able to put them on my corvette. I know the Vette has tire pressure sensors so I wasn't sure how that would work if I swapped the stock wheels with my black ZR-1s... Also, the size of my ZR-1 wheels is 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the rear, would there be any issues with the size? Thanks for any help!

Congrats. and welcome to the forum. Dont know if they would fit, the backspacing might be different.

Not only are there questions about offsets and backspacing - the C5 comes with 17x8.5" in front and 18 x9.5" in the rear. I can't imagine why you would want to go with a 17" wheel in the back unless you were running drag slicks all the time.

Best way to find out is to try it and see if it fits and how it looks.....but for me, no thanks.

Lay a straight edge across the back of your Z's rims and measure from the outside of the rim to the inside face of the wheel. Do the same for the vettes wheels. Nothing wrong with 17's all around as long as the rear tires are about 1/2" bigger in diameter than the front ones.
