No more difficult than changing a light bulb in the turn signals. You might need to purchase the flasher harness sold by Richard. I don't know if the tower switchbacks are going to create a hyperflash situation. But even if you need the harness - it's a piece of cake to install.

As as has already been said, simple installation (just replaces the stock buld). You will be safer getting the flasher kit from Richard (forum vendor - info posted under Hyper Flash kit). It is easy to install as well and covers you if you ever install other LED lights (such as rear tail lights).
I've had mine for almost a year now with no problems and lots of positive comments. One of the coolest mods to the lighting system that you can do.
