Sound/Stereo issues
I need the forum to give me your suggestions. The opticle eye went bad on my original unit. I replaced it with a Alpine 9861 but I lost soo much in sound. What I want to know is it worth adding a amp,not that I want to blast music but theres such a big difference.

ALL C5s are bose if you checked out ther car audio section of the forum u would know this
it has nothing to do with ur radio or adding an amp the problem is u most likely got a standard gm harness meaning ur bose subs arent working
u need the gmcrv2 harness
