Default Helpful advise

Hello guy's & girl's ,

Just checking to see if I could get any pointers in a build .

Motor is an LS1 out of a Camaro

Wanted to know what parts would be needed to obtain 400-450hp on this looking to go used to keep it cheap . This would be with keeping my block stock .

Thanks for any info to help me achieve my hp goal

Joey

LS6 intake, heads, cam, and you should be right where you want to be.

stock cam is /not/ going to get you 450 hp without a blower/turbos...

I'd start with a cam from a forum sponsor (EG custom grind cams can make a lot of power on mostly stock motors) either an LS6 intake (perhaps TPiS Ported for 92 mm intake and TB?) or just drop the change on a FAST 92... either way... a decent set of ported heads, headers and a decent tune, you're way into the 450 range.. If it's an A4 don't forget the T/C and perhaps a gearset... 450 HP + 3.42 A4=quick!
