Similar to what you would see in traffic. At an autocross you sit around a fair amount of time with the engine running and then you do a short burst of near wide open to wide open throttle operation for 60 to 90 seconds and you are back to sitting around or crawling at 5 mph.

As long as it doesn't go over 300 degrees you are fine. I run my car on the track and would see 300 degrees after 20 minutes so I put in a Ron Davis radiator with an intergal oil cooler. A straight oil cooler will be to cold on the street.
A tip is to pour in a bottle of Redline water wetter to help it cool better, and always turn on the AC after each run to make sure the second fan comes on since it triggers around 235 or so.
