I have a bunch of stone chips on my front bumper. I bought touch up paint from the dealer(torch red) but its darker then my current paint. I assume this is because my car is a 2000 and has around 100k miles on it.
Other than re-painting my bumper(might be hard to match the rest of the car) or filling up my stone chips with Darker paint(will look worse than stone chips) .. Any other options?
Reduce the paint down and see if you can better match it.
Get the color diluted a little and no one will ever notice on chips. Have someone else judge the results not you. You will always see them because you are looking for them.

Hmm I thought about that but wasnt sure which type/color paint I would need to lighten it. I assume White GM paint?
NO COLOR, just reducer. When paint is mixed in a color, it can't be sprayed without thinning (reducing) it, the more you reduce it, the less pigment. Get a cheapy airbrush and practice.
I had a bunch of chips as well but someone backed into my car and scratched up the bumper so they paid to have it repainted and much like yourself I was a bit concerned about color matching. I talked the guy into doing my hood and it all came out perfectly. Mine is a Mag Red and they say thats a bear to get right but he did so it can be done. good luck.
