Default seat lever question

Does anyone know how to remove the manual seat lever on the side? There is a slit on the bottom of it. Do you just pull it straight off? Thanks

Go to the Vette Essentials web site and they have great instructions on how to remove it. Basically it is held on with a C-clip.

Steal or borrow your wife or grandmothers crochete needle. Or find a similar tool with a small hook on the end. You just insert it into the slit and catch the retaining clip which is U shaped. Pull it upward and it will come out and free the handle to pull off. To re-install the handle, put the clip back on first and simply push the handle back on. It will snap into place.

I use a small screwdriver and push on the clip. The clip is horse shoe shaped and you push on the closed end of the clip and that spreads the open end so the clip releases from the shaft.
