[Z06] High pitched rattling noise

High pitched rattling noise
The Corvette dealer told me this was a normal thing to hear. He told me it's a stock clutch noise.
I'll be driving down the road in my 2002 Z06 and regardless of what gear I'm in or what speed I'm going, a certain type of rattle noise will occur when I take my foot completely off the gas pedal. Now this noise only happens when my foot is all the way off the pedal. If I'm slowing down while gradually letting off the gas, the noise won't happen until I take my foot all the way off. It's clearly sounds like it's the clutch. And also, I bought the car brand new and this noise has been present since day 1.
I want to know if anyone else experiences this.

Well, It's hard to say if you have the exact noise I do, but I have something very similar. My drive Train does make some noise's, Quite a couple different sounding ones actually. (Depends what I'm doing) Everyones Told me it normal. (Other Z Owners & Performance Shop, I've been in their cars and I hear Yet even different sounds.) The General Consensis is this is a Race Car in Street Clothing and your bound to hear all that performance working!
