How about a mid rise scissors lift? BEND PAK and others sell them.
There used to be a company in southern AZ who sold a lift similar to the KWIK LIFT, but it pivoted at the center point like a teeter totter. I haven't seen them advertise lately, so they're probably out of business.
There's been a few members selling their KWIK LIFT in the CF classifieds for great prices...you might post a WTB and see what happens while you wait for your KWIK LIFT order.
