I have a 2000 Corvette with the factory Bose CD and remote CD changer. The problem that I am having is that the clock will often times stop keeping time when the car is shut off for an extended period of time. I reset the clock and it will keep time for several days in a row. Then on any random day, I will get in the car and the time will be off by several hours. Can anyone tell me if this is something that you can fix in the radio itself or if this type of problem is related to another system of the vehicle.
There should be an accesssory "Hot" wire that is 12 volts with the key on and there should be a "Hot" all the time wire that is 12 volts even with the key off. It sounds as if you are losing the always "Hot" voltage intermittantly.
Mine just started doing similar, although I'm suspect more is going on. I have a 2000 also, and my head unit just recently stopped recognizing my PAC connector to RCA's I play my iPod thru and the usual resolution I obtained on this board just isn't working.
Shouldn't be the battery either, as it's only about 3 months old.
I'm not losing my station presets. Seems like the only thing that's amiss is the clock has no sense of correct time at all. I still need to see if it's returning some sort of code.

Most likely loose or bad connection. Pull the head unit and check the connections.
