Stripes are simple to do as long as you dampen the area first. The wife and I did her Monte Carlo, and then did my hood stripes.

I know that you can do it. It's not that hard. Good luck

I saw a Carbon Fiber hood at MTI that looked pretty cool but not sure how it would look on a Yellow Z06. Do people actually do that on nice cars? I've seen the Carbon Fiber hood on Honda Civics before but from a distance, especially on an other than black car, it looked like a primered hood! So I'm not sure if I want to primered hood look! Has anyone seen the Carbon Fiber hood on a yellow vette?

Thanks,
Mitch

They have some slicky stuff that you use in window tinting that works much better than just soapy water (I've used both). Use plenty of it.

Stripes are such a personal thing.
This is the only stripe that I've ever seen that I like, and would consider doing myself.

Nice job!

(maybe I'll see you on the road another day and I can take a closer look)

Sure thing. I can take a ride out that way one weekend. Pm me your cell number Mike and I'll call you on my way home after work when I drive it to work.
