[Z06] convertible Zo6 ?
First post, thanks in advance for your comments

You'd have to run the engine numbers to see if it's a LS6 because it didn't come from the factory that way.. hence the vin is no good.
and somewhere here are several stickys about those little "known" issues over time. All in all, it will last well over 100k mi without major problems.. if taken care of.

Good luck
as others have already said, the "S" in the vin (8th character) is the dead giveaway. i would verify that the dash vin matches the frame vin (open the hood and look at the frame rail right behind the pass side headlight). you could also verify the 243 heads (# is cast on the front edge of the pass side).
if all that is good and the deal sounds liveable, then go for it.
the only downsides so far for me is i'm limited on track days (without a rollbar
) and then there are the "purists" and haters that swear that "it is NOT a true Z06 without the roof" to which i can only laugh and say "you're right, i guess i just have a fast 'vert

"either way, if different is your thing (like me), then a spirited drive in a 'verted z0 is
.you might check out ILLMAC77's 'verted z0. it is freakin' cool as hell
keep me posted if you end up pulling the trigger.
peace and

I added all the Z06 pieces. Exhaust, C6 Z shifter, screens, rail covers, rims, calipers, air box, rear brake ducts, etc etc.........
And being that isn't actually a legit Z06, I wouldn't put the badges on, that would be over the top.
Was going to buy the seats but I haven't found the right ones yet. I kinda like the seats it has in it better.
