Default Help Asap Diference in Z06 Windows and FRC

im looking to replace my windshield with a z06 windshield which year is the lightest one and what is the weight difference

also i would like a part number thanks

I just did this...here's what to do..
The OEM replacement screen is a APTech DW1514..
Look into a APTech DW1430....and only a APTech DW1430 windshield....better yet get the company to do what I had mine do.. have them bring both and do the comparison just like did.

Inspect the bug...that's the information in the lower passenger side corner..they should ( and betting they will) be exact....

The catch..APTech DW1514 will cost you 900-1300 bucks the APTech DW1430 will run you 300 - 500 bucks

In 2002 - all Z06's and convertibles with heads up displays used the thinner 4.8mm windshields vs. the 5.4mm windshield in the coupe. The total weight savings was 2.65lbs.

Exactly thats what drove my thinking....that and others postings..they still carry the "Z06" windshield and are really glad to sell you the
DW01514 at 1300 bucks
