Quick Question on C5 Acceleration
Hi guys. I've been looking all over the web and the Forum for the 0-60 acceleration time/specs for a 2004 C5 LS1 (not Z06). Everyone quotes the Z06 specs but not the basic 350/350 model. I know that you guys have this info. Thanks.

0-60 in 5.5....must've been asleep for 1.2-1.5 seconds of that.

I think the '04 could go 0-60 in about 4.6 seconds - of course depending on the driver.

A couple tenth under 5 seconds is correct,..............and a low 13 second run stock................here it is in living color...........all stock 2003 6 speed with 3.42 rear end...............13 flat in the quarter mile.

Will a little practice, I believe high 12s are possible..........which would put the zero to sixty in the mid 4s.

0-60 is highly dependent on traction. As you mod, traction out the hole is a real problem Even on a prepared track you have to launch the C5 at part throttle setting and floor it over the course of a full second. So even if you are mid 12s I'm guessing your 0-60mph is not that good. On the street, fuggedaboutit, not good.

Most of us in F/I section are under 3 seconds ONLY if we can get traction

That's roughly a 1.6 60' time, now that's impressive
