My windshield gets fogged up in the lower center above the vent even when I don't have the windshield setting on. It trickles cold air which when mixed with the famous Florida humidity on the outside, causes the small area above the vent to fog thus forcing me to use the wipers to clear it every few minutes. Anybody else have this problem?
I have the same issue. I just got the car a few weeks ago. I'm curious to see what others say. I have the vents directed into the cabin, not defrost, but I still get a little oval shaped pattern of condensation on the glass...

With all controls off I had a similar patch of condensation in the area you mentioned Paul. First time I have ever noticed this, all I know it was very humid last evening.
Paul, I am in Central Florida, which in the summer feels like the Amazonian Rain Forest! It seems to be a slight leak in the system, allowing cold air to reach the windshield. Maybe someone knows a fix or a setting to prevent this. What part of Florida are you in?
I just had this problem fixed. A/C was blowing out the defrost vent even when I had it set to dash vents only, causing the windsheild to fog up. I was also getting cold air at my feet, basically all the vents were open. You have a broken vacuum line somewhere. There are DIY repair posts on this forum but I had the dealer take care of it, it cost me $200 and was the best money I've spent on my car yet.
