I agree, Try lowering it on stock bolts, That might be enough for you, Any lower driving becomes a pain as a dd.
Do a search, I lowered mine on stock bolts and it takes no time at all.
I still have a bit more to lower if I want to.

WCC and Zip both sell front and rear lowering bolts for the C-5 I bougt mine from WCC but I think Zip has a lower price. They are pretty easy to do buy yourself. I used 2 floor jacks and it took less than 1 1/2 hours to do the entire car by switching out all four bolts.
One other thing, does your car have the "selective ride" option? If so, you can't get too crazy with the lowering or you could wreck the shocks.
Mine had it and i had to purchase the sensor simulators, but now I have no problems.

Are you trying to say that you replaced the F45 shocks with something else? And after that, you put in the simulators to keep the BCM happy?
Yes I put Z06 shocks on it. Before I put the new shocks on I was getting an occasional code on the dic. Now there are no problems and the car rides just the way i like it.
