finally get c5

So I finally get a c-5 nice red 98 convertible 49k miles. drove 80 miles to get it. On way home trans line explodes. I fix it put 7 quarts of fluid in it. Now the trans has no third gear. I just feel so lucky.

How'd u fix that on the road..? Car too low to fix underneath..did u have 2 have it towed? k

I did have it towed. I am a tech at a saturn dealer. I had it towed to my shop. i fixed the line there and filled the trans. Took for a drive and when it shifts to third. I'm bouncing off the rev. limiter. And not going any faster.

I am new to the site And haven't set up a profile. This is my first vette. Thanks for all the support.
