Can I replace the headlight control module?
I have a friend with an '03. The headlights are staying up when off. I used all the troubleshoting except the "reseat the connectors" because my hands are too large.
If we reseat the connectors and the lights stay up can that module be replaced DIY or is it a dealer only service item?

It is a DIY item. The headlight control module is located below the passenger headlight and is bolted to the front of the wheel well. You may be able to access if with the healight raised and the bezel off, but the recommended access is through the bottom of the nose requiring you to remove the bottom panel.
You may want to make sure it's the control module that's the problem. It sounds like you're doing the required troubleshooting so that' good.
