I had a productive weekend working on the ZO6. Lowered the car on stock bolts, cut the rear bushings and repaired the passenger side headlight headlight motor (gear replacement). So what did everyone get done this weekend?
By the way here are the before and after:

i thought really really really hard about taking the brakes off to apply some anti squeek stuff.... but I sat in front of the tv and watched star trek instead LOL
I got really ambitious and installed my StopTech BBKs on all 4 corners and polished/sealed my new CCWs. Unfortunately my Speedbleeders did not arrive yet so I haven't had a chance to test the brakes yet (the parking brakes work fine). Hopefully my Speedbleeders get here tomorrow and I'll be back on the road shortly after that
I removed my Power Slot rotors because they were not legal in class. Installed Bilstien shocks. Ran 14 autox runs. Drank some beer and had a great time with Corvette friends. Returned home and removed some very agressive brake pads, washed the car and spent the rest of the day in the hammock thinking how luck I am.
If I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of my self.
Ever since I bought my Z 3 weeks ago the shifter was very notchy, especially for the first few shifts. I went out Sunday morning and it wouldn't even go in to 1st or reverse (had to roll it a little). So, I changed out the tranny and diff fluid to Royal Purple Synchromax. It's about 80% better now. I also changed the oil.
Oh and ordered a Vararam for $289.95 shipped to the door from RPI Designs
just washed mine this weekend and drove it, new front rotors/pads going on it this week, it'll almost shake your teeth out of your gums right now, bought the car like this 50k on the stock rotors
