White residue from air conditioner condensation
Hi you C5'ers.
Whenever I use the air conditioner, the condensation that drips down has a white residue in it. My garge floor is always clean. I have checked with my dealer and they say it just debris collected that gets "washed" off after the a/c has been running. I realize that the condensation is a normal occurrance but could it perhaps be the new liquid being used in place of freeon? Do 98 Corvetts have a liquid other than freeon in the a/c unit?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Mindy

The only liquid that should be dripping from your a/c is the result of condensation.
It's not a pure water so there are mineral deposits in it. Mine does the same thing. Nothing to be concerned about...
