We have gone every year since '98, and always have great time. We only live an hour away and wouldn't miss it.
Our club, Wabash Valley Corvette Club, will be competing in the "Club Feud" game on Saturday (come cheer us on...we need the support). We usually have 30+ cars there in the Club Parking area, so stop by and say "HI".
I'll have the '64 there Friday and Saturday, and probably bring the '99 on Sunday. The wife will have her '01 Breast Cancer Tribute car there Friday & Saturday, too.
The wife and I just made found out today that we will be able to make it this year. Had a terrible time trying to find a room but finally got a call back and booked a suite at Days Inn.
We also have some contacts that are friends with Mr. Yeager and they report that this will be the last year for Funfest in Effingham. It has been said that next years event will be held in Indianapolis, IN. at a bigger facility.
As of print time, this reporter cannot possitively confirm this rumor.
