Here's pics of my Halo install.

Search for others - there are many others who've done this and some have other suggestions, but my pics should give you an idea of how easy it really is.
Some of the lights out there need resistors...the LED's don't draw as much as the stock lights, so the car thinks there is a "burned out" bulb and you get "hyper-flash"....the lights flash really fast.
I got the plug and play from WCC and I love them.

Halos off, black cherry treatment.

Halos on.

I've worked with many vendors and non-vendors in my "mod madness" and have to say up front that Richard was topnotch
After spending quite a bit of time talking with him, I decided to upgrade the entire rear of my C5 with his Black Cherry LEDs (Tail Lights, Side Markers and 3rd Brake Light). I did not order the hyper-flash work-around and don't seem to need it. Everything works fine without it. Richard did not try to sell me on anything: He simply walked me through the products I asked about and we chatted about the differences between the Black Cherry and standard LED C5 light products.
I then placed my order.
The lights all arrived on schedule and were professionally packaged. When I opened the box, I found them to be works of art – Quality craftsmanship and truly a "plug and play" swap of the stock lights. The hardest part was getting to the 3rd brake light mounting bolts by sticking my arm through the open tail light holes. But, I took my time and managed to change all the lights (including the side markers) through the tail light holes, completing the entire swap in less than two hours.
Needless to say, I am delighted with the result
I was planning to flush mount the lights and purchased all the hardware listed in another forum post on flush mounting. But, decided to skip that (for now) and installed them in the stock positions, which I may just stick with.
Below is the end result. Thanks Richard... If I had anything negative to say, I would share it as I am not a vendor cheerleader and try to be objective in my reviews.
These are one of the few mods that I've purchased that are truly plug and play & quality, right out of the box - and I have done more mods than I care to think about

You will need to get the LED Flasher bypass, but it is easy to install (the instructions are very clear). The lights themselves are just plug and play.
but I am not partial to the outter "halo" on the halo led tail lights.Just me, but I dont like the neon look of the continuous ring around the edge.
Anyone know of led tail lights for the C5 that are just a grid (or circular pattern) of led's ? (without the continuous lighted ring around the edge)
