1) LED halo re-build. replacing ALL 28 main and 4 LEDs per light to make them bright enough to clearly see at night with the blackouts (even with the Halo mod.
2) 3-way front stage speaker conversion
Mostly the reason for this is because since i went active, the power to the woofer and tweeter has been augmented. The tweeters are 25W and the woofers are 40w. Right now, both are getting 100w rms of power. By upgrading to a 3-way setup and re-wiring the amp setups, I can bring the tweeter power levels to a more moderate 40W. The additional driver on the front channel will bring the speaker power handling to 75 watts on the front channel II. The re-wire will reduce power to the read speakers from 100watts to 40 watts per channel, but then again, they're rear channels anyway.
That is going to look HOT! The side skirts really helps to make the L5 finders to flow with the rest of the body lines. I can't wait to see the finished results.
TheRadioFlyer is my new hero. He has yet to do anything to his car that I wouldn't love to do to mine. Not to mention that some of his wiring schemas border on genius.
That looks an awful lot like a cardboard box. Come on show us what's isside the box!!! I gotta see!!!

You win hands down... that is amazing custom work. That really helps tie in the quarters

Mark... those aren't L5 flares... those are one-off customs, look at how they flow into the rocker panel and they don't look as "hippy" or bloated as the L5s.

Thanks for the compliment! :o After all the work you've done on your car, that's a tall compliment.
And thanks for mentioning my flares are one-off custom flares. L5 has a really nice product, but I do like the shape and flow of mine more. I just finished block sanding both sides. After a late lunch, it'll be time to spray more epoxy primer.
With any luck, I hope to spray a black sealcoat primer on them tomorrow morning before I go to my real job.
After sealing them up, I'll probably leave them alone for a week or two and see if any flaws or shrinkage occur. Then I can finally sand, spray another seal coat, spray black base and 2-3 coats of clear.
^ Honestly the targa conversion isn't that hard. You just need to know where to cut, have the ***** to cut it, and have some body work skills (which Gary has in spades). Making something 100% custom like you have is a rarity
