Runflats??
Reason im asking is i am thinking about buying a new set of wheels and tires and i will want to sell my wagons with the tires and figured the tires are worth some $$$$. If i could get a few hundred for the set i would be happy
.Also, am i taking a big chance not having runflats on the car or should i just get AAA?

Steve
8K miles sounds like about 20-25% of the expected treadlife...
Many here don't like runflats.
Many are given away... but if you do have 75% treadlife remaining, I think you should be able to get about $400 for them
I bought a used pair of Goodyear F1 GSD3's for the front in summer of 2006. When new they had 11/32 of tread depth depth and the ones I bought had 9/32s so they were fairly new. I paid $150 for the two plus shipping which was about $25 ground. The RFs are more expensive than regular performance F1s but they are not as popular so used pricing would probably be comparable. I bought two new F1 GSD3s for the rear and they cost $288 each plus shipping.
I switched from the RFs to the non-RFs back in 2006 and haven't had any problems. And the difference in the ride and handling is remarkable. I made a little emergency tire repair kit with a small DC compressor from Walmart, some tire plugs and tools, a small scissor jack from a GM Celebrity (circa late '80s), a 1/2 drive rachet, extension and 19 mm socket for the lugs and a spray bottle with soapy water. Short of some major road hazard tire destroying damage I could make a quick repair to a flat and get down the road to a tire shop for a proper patch. I have AAA for a flat bed ride in case of major non driveable tire damage.
