x pipe install price?

x pipe install price?
I had my x pipe installed today, i bought a corsa and it had all the bolts and required hardware. The garage tried to charge me $160 to install it because they had to "fabercate"....which means they had to cut the 2 pipes after the cats. I told him this was way overpriced. Was this a fair price?

I had a Meineke install an exhaust cutout on my Trans Am. They had to make two cuts and weld it in. They charged me $30. I think I paid roughly the same ($30) having an x-pipe welded on to my 04 GTO. That took 4 cuts and then 4 welds.
