If your battery has too much draw when sitting and goes dead even with a battery ender on it--does that cause a cell to go bad on the battery or would the battery just need a good charge after it goes dead? Can too much draw cause a dead cell? thx.
I really think if something is drawing too much with a charger on it --its a bad battery causing this problem or the charger--no electrical in the car would cause this--ya think
Hi, if the battery is going dead even with the tender hooked up and plugged in, it is either a bad battery, or bad tender, or both. If there is enough draw to overcome the charging effort of a good tender, then you need to find the draw and eliminate it. To answer your second question, a battery can develop a bad cell from overcharging, or constantly being undercharged causing sulphation. Charge the battery and wait a few hours, and then load test it to be sure.
Good Luck
