Default Any issues with this hood?

Has anyone had any negative issues with this hood? Link is

http://www.acproducts.us/corvetteracebod.htm

and the hood is the Louvered Air Extractor Hood down towards the bottom of the page. It looks pretty cool to me, and I have been debating between it and the RK hood.

The fit and finish on the ACP hoods are top notch. I've heard a few negatives on the RK's but my experience with ACP has been very positive.

No experience with either of those hoods, but I like the looks of the ACP one better.

I had a Motor City Mold hood and absolutely loved it.

Well for some reason I am sure you know from the RK website I really like the RK hood

Now about the hood
I had no issues with fitment and my painter even said it went on very nice with minimal adjustments. The top of the hood comes in a nice gray gel coat and in nice overall condition needd very little work. The bottom of the hood will require some finishing to make it look nice. I had mine finished and put the factory hood liner back on when done. I am very very happy with the look, fit and overall features of the product. I had mixed feeling about buying the hood hearing al the horror stories about RK and fitment issues. I called and talked to Sean at Rk before i purchased the hood and asked all the questions and he assured me that yes there was a problem but they had corrected the issues. I bought hood on that famous auction site direct from RKSOPRT for 475.00. It cost me 800.00 to have finished the way you see it now. I am soure you will be very happy with both hoods as I think they both look very nice.
PM me if you have anymore questions
