...it is HOT and a little muggy here...however, the skies look great...
...sure hope it stays that way...The Meet and Greet is a few hours away now...looking forward to meeting everyone...

Met Jim R. (shoribs) downtown with his beautiful white C5 and then ran to Metropolis to get pics of the cars with Superman...

Drive safe Steve and you too A.J. and we will see you all soon...

Steve
Did you happen to get a pic of those darn 'Mayfly' bugs that seem to be taking over downtown Paducah the last couple days?....There were so many clinging to the flood wall murals yesterday that you couldn't even see the artwork...
...there were millions of them....
... looked like a scene out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie....
For those that aren't familar with the Superman Statue you mentioned,
here's a pic from last year...

Jim, thanks for telling us about the Hampton Inn it is very nice, they even put out a hose for us to clean our cars.
I think tomorrow night after diner we may go to the casino if anyone wants to join us. Ild like to get a picture with superman too

Hey KC i think some of our friends talked to you this afternoon, they said they talked to some guys from KC and their cars were spotless
We will see you guys in the morning

...Steve it will be great to meet you and all the rest of the folks that have made the trip from St. Louis...Steve

From phone messages I recieved from Z06-Jim and IRV, Paducah must have gotten a bad storm this morning.
Please post up and tell us, if you can, what's everybody's situation might be. I know that this post might not make it through, if there is no electric service in and around Paducah...

Steve
As far as the storm, it was very windy, with reports of 75+mph winds. Lots of broken limbs and poweroutages.Power is getting back, and late today it was really nice. out.

We got woke up by the baby @4:45. I checked the forecast and the rain was supposed to be there by 6 am. When we left @ 5:30 the winds were 35-40 mph. It made it quite fun w/ the trailer......We were in bham by 11:30. Sounds like it was a good call to leave when we did!

It was great to meet ya', and what a beautiful car...
...Allen and I pulled out of the "Residence Inn" at 4:20 a.m. and headed for home. The rain across St. Louis was pretty bad...
...my car sure doesn't look anything like it did yesterday...I heard back from IRV and Jim that about one third of the residents of Paducah do not have electric service from the storm. Trees and power poles are down as well..
