why so cheap?
why are those so much cheaper than at other places?
most places the rims are 224$ a piece

A lot of places sell those about that cheap. Check the auction sites. Yes he has them on there too but so do other vendors. They aren't expensive wheels, some places sell them higher though knowing people will pay higher prices. Tomzwheels I guess goes with the face that you might want some tires for those wheels and maybe lugnuts and other things so they will get some profit out of something, that's business. Tomzwheels is a great CF supporting vendor if you are thinking of buying from there though. I got my tires there and have been real happy.

Not unusual to see them that price anymore. TomZWheels does offer some very good deals on wheels.

I bought a set of full chrome Z06 repros from Corvette Garage for about the same price 2 years ago..
They were a special at the time.
Sometimes the manufacturer has more in inventory than they would like (overstock) and offers a sweet deal to a vendor to move a bunch. TomZwheels sells alot of wheels... Maybe he bought these on overstock...and is passing the savings along to blow them out...

They have been on backorder forever and at one point they were actually talking about discontinuing that style. However my rep at Factory Reproductions says they are back in production and we should see some soon( about 2-3 weeks. )
