Default Emissions regulations - help

Our "Nanny state" Government in New Zealand recently passed more strict emissions regulations. Vette now needs to conform to US2001 to get it registered.

To import a Vette you need a certificate of compliance to cover off the emissions angle.

Our club has four members bringing back an 01 02 04 and 06 respectively in November after doing a 90 day trip touring the US to ensure they dont need to convert to RHD to get it on the road here.

I had hoped the build sticker or window sticker would help but it doesnt.

It only states that the vehicle conforms to all applicable US federal motor vehicle safety, bumper and theft prevention standards

Nothing about emissions compliance.

Any other stickers labels etc on the car that covers off emissions compliance or so I have to write to the factory and get a Certificate of compliance stating the vehicle meets US2001 standards at time of manufacture.

HELP

AHA..

I found this in the owners manual (Corvette Action Centre PDF)
...
California Fuel
If your vehicle is certified to meet California Emission
Standards (see the underhood emission control label),it is designed to operate on fuels that meet California

Can anybody take a photo of the label and e mail it to me at kaye.tom@xtra.co.nz.
