i've got a set of black chrome z06 rims (c5 style) i've had for aroung 8 months. no issues at all, no flaking, crazing, or anything.....still look brand new. i got mine from a seller named "wheelindex" on ebay for 749.00 to my door, came with center capos, lugs, and velve stems. although i re-used the valve stems from my original rims (5 spoke polished aluminum) because of the tire pressure sensors. i later sold the orginal rims on ebay for 500.00. very happy with them. the boxes were brand new and said "replica rims" on the box so i'm assuming they are the same ones you are inquiring about. hope this helps
I have chroime Z06 wheels as you saw, but I couldn't tell you the brand name as they were on the car when i got it. I am getting a bit of flaking on the inside of the drum, but I have never really cleaned or cared for that part of the rim. The face still looks good with the exception of one spot that hit a rock....friggin KFC drive thru!
They look good. I love the C6Z wheel. I will eventually get a set, but in chrome. I'm also liking the ZR1 wheels and wonder if they will reproduce them as well.
I can't comment on the quality though. In case you didn't notice it, keep in mind the shipping is $89.00 per wheel so that is another $360.00
Repro wheels will probably not last as long as OEM wheels, but for the price they represent a great value...
If they flake or you curb them, it itsn't painful and you can repace them and still be ahead of the game financially.
i bought a set of y2k wheels for my c4 from these guys. nice wheels, good chrome. balanced well. never had a problem and had em on the car for about 2 years. thinking about getting a set of chrome zo6 wheels from them. think the shipping is for the set, not per wheel. wouldnt hurt to call em tho.
The only downsides I've really heard of are concerns with weight. Supposedly most of the aftermarket wheels weigh considerably more. Some people have made comments saying their car feels slower due to the extra weight... something to do with spinning mass rather than actual vehicle weight so a small weight on a wheel has a 7x larger impact?????

Does anybody know anything about replica OE Wheels?
The more specific you are the more info you'll get. they are probably heavier and made in China. Some have had problems with "out of round", balancing and finish woes.

I ran a set of Factory Reproduction chrome C5 Z06 wheels on my car for over 3 years and they were excellent. Never had a balance problem, the chrome looked excellent and got tons of compliments on them.
I just ordered a set of c6 wheels from them, and almost everything was OK. The only problem was they told me my tires would fit there wheel, it was one inch wider and it didn't. The sidewall was so leaned in on the front wheel it was embarrassing!! they weren't in the best shape anyway so i just got new tires. besides that everything went good. they have a lifetime warranty on structure and one year on chrome. It was a cheap way to loose those stock wagon wheels i had!!
