Not real happy with the ones I applied about a year ago. Any ideas how to remove them without ruining my paint? (They were applied with the 3M tape, if I remember correctly.)
A hair dryer to generate some heat and dental floss or monofilament fishing line pulled back and forth in a sawing motion...
Once you get them off, use some goo be gone or goof off to remove the adhesive residue.

That method works pretty well. Just be careful with goof off as it will mess up any plastic pieces such as tail lights.

many times you can just roll off the old residue with your fingers.......Irish ingenuity Bill
I recently removed some sill plates from my Z06 with 3M Adhesive Remover. Sprayed a little under the edges...waited a minute...and it peeled off with no issues. A little more removed the residual tape adhesive perfectly.

Just take your time and they should come off just fine.
