Old file photo nothing to do with Texas or Ike....and it's a C4 not worth much..probably left there by the owner to collect the insurance...better than trying to sell it. You will see much of that ..great way to unload a unsellable vehicle.

I don't really believe that the photo was actually from Ike. However, you should all understand is that Galveston, TX was under water before it even started raining. The storm surge arrived long before the hurricane did. When exactly? I couldn't tell you.
I'm from southeast Houston myself. Aside from possible wind damage, I was not worried about my house. My Vette however, does not get a chance to be parked in a garage. That's why I went to College Station. (And I'm still in College Station until the power returns at my house.)
