Actually, he was a really nice guy in high school, class president multi sport letterman. I kinda wonder if he was misled or lied to by Hertz? Maybe the next reunion (if I remember) I'll ask him.

I'll bet he didn't know he rented a "rental only" edition Vette. And you could've very easily looked like a tool calling him out on it, because most (if not all) of the onlookers wouldn't know you were telling the truth. Congrats on keeping your cool.
